Big Game Hunter Training – Rifle or Shotgun Shooting

In addition to everything included in the “Basic Training – Rifle Shooting” (but much more detailed) we will cover in depth the ballistic effects of different calibers and different types of bullets and their effectiveness on the different game animals in Canada.

For example…

– Which bullet and/or caliber should I use for a deer at 50 yards vs. 500 yards?
– Which bullet and/or caliber should I use for predator protection?
– The effects of a large slow-firing caliber vs. a small fast-firing caliber on different game animals?
– Monolithic (100% copper) ammunition vs. soft lead, hard lead, bonded, hollow point, or polymer ammunition tip? Why, when, and how?

A projectile kills by causing one or more of the following effects:

1. Blood loss.
2. Nervous system damage.
3. Destruction of vital tissues and organs.
4. Sepsis or asphyxiation.

Stop losing game because you didn’t use the right caliber or type of bullet. Modern calibers are highly complex, and it’s essential to know and understand them to ensure the game doesn’t suffer and to ensure its life is ended as quickly as possible.
At the end of this course, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to succeed in hunting. All that’s left is to practice regularly and apply yourself 100%.
